My Bio

Here's what you need to know. I'm an economist by day, cyclist/photographer/husband by night.

I began riding bikes at the age of 4 much like most kids. However from the time the training wheels came off I was trying to race the neighborhood kids around the block. At age 12 while living in Spain I took to road biking. At 13 I entered my first road race. I had to race in the 18-29 category since there were no other juniors.

At age 15 I got my first mountain bike while living in Connecticut and was instantly hooked. Summer days were spent ripping countless miles of singletrack.  At age 18, I moved to New Mexico and for a brief time didn't ride a bike.   Instead, my focus turned to Hockey another sport I had grown to love. Knee injuries from Hockey would eventually leave me looking for other forms of fitness and my ultimate return to cycling.

Today, I live, work, train, and race in Omaha.  Wanna know more? Read my blog or drop me a line.
